In tonight’s news bulletin: Is Lebanon a replica of Iran?!

  • After the air messages between Hezbollah and Israel, will the party detonate the situation before the elections?
    – Mikati goes along with the covenant in Riad Salameh’s case and – angers the Sunni street
    – Southerners resort to cultivating the land to secure their livelihood

On Thursday, Hassan Nasrallah announced, that Hezbollah had long begun to manufacture drones, and whoever wants to buy from them should submit an application. Less than twenty-four hours later, the party directed drones towards Israel! Also on Thursday, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah announced that the party, in cooperation with experts from Iran, had the ability to convert its existing missiles into thousands of precision missiles. Does this mean that Nasrallah will decide in the upcoming days to test these missiles to see their accuracy? In form, it might be a strange question , but in depth, it should be asked. Nasrallah does not care about the interests of the Lebanese state, the prestige of the security and military forces, or the safety of the Lebanese people. All what concerns him is focused on two things. The first: to suggest to his audience that he is the strongest in the military equation, to tighten the nerve, especially as we are on the verge of parliamentary elections. The second: sending messages in the name of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Israel, which turns Lebanon into an arena for settling scores between countries, and turns it once again into a mere card used by countries to pressure each other! All of this is happening, while the legitimate, official state is completely absent. Neither the President of the Republic has declared any stance on what is happening, nor does the Prime Minister dare to say anything, while the Minister of Foreign Affairs is falling in a deep sleep! So, how did the legitimate state shift all its decisions to the illegitimate state? Has Lebanon turned into an Iranian model, where the Supreme Leader of the Republic is the one who rules, while the presidents, ministers, and representatives are merely implementers of his instructions and orders? It is the bitter truth. Our officials abandoned their decision in favor of Hassan Nasrallah, and thus Lebanon became an exact copy of Iran. Is this the republic that the Lebanese aspire to in the twenty-first century?
