In today’s news bulletin:
– Lebanon COVID-19, greater spread and less readiness.
– The industry outcries, demanding to be noticed by the exception.
– Once again, dispute between Baabda and the president-designate, and formation pays the price.
Two explosions marred This political week closure. The political explosion, is the violent dispute between Baabda Palace, and Beit Al-Wasat, where it started from Baabda, through the President of the Republic stance, in which he announced that Representative Gobran Bassil did not engage in the process of forming at all, and that “Hezbollah” does not interfere in any of the President’s decisions, and that Baabda Palace is still waiting for the Prime Minister-designate to present a governmental proposal, that takes into account the criteria of equitable representation in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution.
Baabda’s speech was prompted by a series of tweets by the media advisor to the President-designate, which was not free of escalation, and stated the following, “is this a clarification from the Presidency of the Republic, or a denial on behalf of Minister Gobran Bassil?” And the advisor continues in his tweet, saying, “It is more useful for those appointed by the matter, to proceed with the proposal of the designated prime minister, which is available at the First Presidency and takes into account equitable representation in accordance with the constitution.”
