While some countries started administrating Covid-19 vaccine in pharmacies, for instance Britain, which started providing the vaccine in pharmacies as of yesterday, Lebanon is still in the first square in the process of importing the vaccine.

• Parliament approves the law for regulating the use of medical products to curb the pandemic

The Parliament has approved the draft law that aims to regulate the usage of medical products to combat Covid-19 pandemic. The Parliament enacted in a simple way the licenses required for importing the vaccine. The question that arises when will the vaccine arrive, and when will the vaccination campaign for inoculating the residents and citizens will kick off. The mechanism for the vaccination campaign should be launched as it requires at least one month to start. However, what about allowing the private sector to import the vaccine? The Speaker of the Parliament, revealed that the Ministry of Public Health will be providing approvals.
