A brief of today’s news bulletin:

Director General of Rafik Hariri University Hospital Dr Firas Abiad announces bad news on his Twitter page over the past few days. Lebanon is experiencing a tragic situation, as more than 30 new patients everyday are in dire need for intensive care, and the number of deaths recorded are hovering around 40 deaths. The coming days will be more tough. Dr. Abiad enjoys high credibility, so his announcements are taken very seriously, especially among most of those who deal with the coronavirus file in Lebanon.

But what is next? Infections and deaths are mushrooming rapidly while the treatments are very sluggish. Thus, Lebanon rallies to disaster, due to massive chaos and extreme improvisation. As for how far the situation will reach, no one can know.
