Airbus shares fell 10% on Friday after the planemaker reported a 10% drop in October deliveries compared to the previous month.
In October, Airbus delivered 36 planes, down from 40 the previous two months and a monthly high of 77 in June.
Airbus has delivered 460 planes so far this year, with 140 jets left to deliver to meet a year-end target of 600.
In a slightly firmer market, shares in the France-based company declined 1%.
In October, Airbus also sold 22 planes, including a previously disclosed contract for 15 jets from Jet2.
It has sold 292 planes so far this year, with a net total of 125 following cancellations.
Airbus continues to outperform Boeing in terms of delivery, but it is lagging behind in terms of new orders this year.
Boeing delivered 241 jets and sold 710 throughout the first nine months of the year, according to the most recent data available, which reduces to 302 after cancellations and other adjustments.
