Bitcoin increased 3.36 percent to $24,584.24 at 1707 GMT on Saturday, a $798.93 increase from its previous closing.

Bitcoin, the world’s largest and most well-known cryptocurrency, is up 39.7 percent from the year’s low of $17,592.78, which was reached on June 18.

Ether, the cryptocurrency tied to the Ethereum blockchain network, increased 0.61 percent to $1,734.08 on Saturday, gaining $10.46 from its previous closing.
