A u.S. charity employee found $42,000 in a $100 class, inside two old donated jackets. Staff member Andrea Lessing initially thought the money was fake, so she and the head of the organization realized that it was real. Lessing was sorting and seeing clothes when she found the money. “My daughter’s birthday in July, I could have kept the money and had a party, but it will hurt me all the time that I took something that wasn’t mine,” she said in an interview with a local radio station. Lessing reported the missing money, and the Oklahoma state organization was able to track down the owner and return it to the clothing donor. The owner gave part of the money to the girl, who said, “I made the right decision, and if I do something good, it will come back to me.”
