Acting Minister of Information Abbas Al-Halabi read out the decisions of the cabinet session. He said: “The Minister of Finance presented the initial perception of the draft budget and presented a series of indicators based on the existing situation, and studying the budget will be by item.”

He added, “The Council of Ministers decided to give a monthly transportation allowance of one million and 200 thousand pounds to the military.” He continued: “The National Anti-Corruption Authority was appointed and all items on the agenda were approved”.

He stressed that the promises have been fulfilled, calling on teachers and contractors to return to schools starting tomorrow morning”.
