“Drugs and supplies confiscated in importers’ warehouses represent 70% of the market’s demand,” MP Assem Araji stated on his Twitter account.

“There are 87 drugs for cancerous and incurable diseases among the present seized supplies,” he continued, adding that “the solution is to release them by a state decision to be distributed to pharmacies and to preserve the rights of importers after verifying the validity of their bills, and to issue a promise from the Banque du Liban to settle the subsidy subsequently,”Araji explained.
