The humiliated lineups in front of bakeries resumed two days ago, when a huge number of them stopped baking bread because they ran out of flour due to the closure of a number of mills and the failure to provide grain to the bakeries.

Ali Ibrahim, the chairman of the Owners Syndicate of Ovens, disclosed in a phone chat with Sawt Beirut International that he will announce a new pricing schedule for a bundle of bread today.

He also believed that those involved were delaying the solution until tomorrow, Friday. He assumed that delivering wheat to the mills that had shut down would provide a speedy answer.
