Sources added: “While he had set the maximum profit margin for importing pharmaceutical companies at 40 percent, and for hospitals at 20 percent, he refrained from specifying the margin for laboratories that achieved profits sometimes reaching 400 percent and even 600 percent, which provided a direct benefit to the owners of the laboratories.”
