MP Bilal Abdallah addressed the electricity advance issue and affirmed via Twitter:

“In light of the outstanding advance in the Constitutional Council, the Electricity of Lebanon’s  Board of Directors approves Comrade Tarek Abdallah’s suggestion not to seek a treasury advance and approves his annual budget without a financial deficit with the request of the Constitutional Council. The state has compensated the corporation’s public administrations liabilities amounting to 1,800 billion pounds.”
