Deputy Bilal Abdullah tweeted “Corona in its new mutated form, Delta, strikes the world again, and its figures in Lebanon are starting to become alarming. There is no alternative to adhering to the adopted measures for limiting the spread, and enhance societal immunity through the continuation and activation of vaccination, with an abundance in quantities of vaccines that have proven successful in confronting the pandemic.”

In the context, Caretaker Health Minister Hamad Hassan confirmed in a tweet that “in confronting the fourth wave of the epidemic, the Ministry of Health received 108,000 Pfizer vaccines and 129,600 AstraZeneca last Monday, in addition to Pfizer’s 146,250 that will arrive on Sunday and 145,000 on Monday.

For its part, the Corona Vaccine National Committee announced the return of the Walk-in service, starting tomorrow, Thursday, in all centers approved by the Ministry of Health, within the applicable conditions, to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine for the age group between 30-49.
