Caretaker Minister of Information Manal Abdel Samad Najd said that corona’s media campaign had left a large echo as contributed in increasing the percentage of people registering for vaccination.

She added that the media has played a key role in the campaign’s success through highlighting the importance of being inoculated.

Abdel Samad emphasized “the right of media professionals to benefit from the initiative, and to be prioritized in vaccination.” She added that the debate and confusion is on setting the date and we do not interfere in this issue.”

She concluded: “Reporters are exposed to high risks as we see them transmitting the conditions of patients in the ambulance, hospital, in demonstrations, and in all places, for this reason it is very important to inoculate them.”
