Abu Chakra to “Sawt Beirut International”: Diesel ship must be emptied as soon as possible

The representative of fuel distributors, Fadi Abu Chakra, assured in an interview with “Sawt Beirut International” that the ship, which suffered a malfunction in Amchit due to the storm last Sunday, was transferred to Beirut in exchange for the oil importing companies, hoping that the unloading will take place as soon as possible and indicating that they are making contacts in order to expedite the unloading  because the market is in great need of diesel in this cold weather.

Abu Chakra explained that the reason of fuel prices rise today is due to the rise in the price of oil globally, explaining that every rise in the price of a barrel of oil globally by one dollar leads to a rise in the gas can of 2100 pounds, despite the stability of the exchange rate in Lebanon and the stability of the exchange rate on Lebanon Sayrafa 20800.
