He added: The real figures of “Delta” infections are much greater than the announced ones, this mutant is more widespread and infectious, people should not be lenient, and more should be vaccinated

On the other hand, he pointed out that “hospitalization sector should not be neglected regarding electricity and medical supplies, this sector is not capable of withstanding and it needs support.”

Regarding the official exams, Abyad expressed his understanding especially for the baccalaureate classes, but said: “we raise our voice and warn that any gatherings may lead to further spread of infection.”
