Member of the “Strong Republic” bloc, MP Imad Wakim, tweeted:

“Among other things, Aoun aims to lift the sanctions imposed on the son-in-law. Why not resort to the American courts, and of course through the methods used by  Ghada Aoun’s judiciary, and form a defense file that proves his innocence of corruption, instead of achieving this by taking the country and people hostages!”
