Lebanon’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Fouad Chehab Dandach, announced on Friday that, following intensive efforts between Abu Dhabi and Beirut, and sincere and constructive responsiveness, he can confirm to Lebanese individuals wishing to visit the UAE that they can submit an application, as usual, for a visit visa through various travel agencies and offices.
This comes after a UAE official had stated to Reuters on Thursday that the country would lift a temporary ban on granting entry visas to Lebanese citizens in the coming days.
The UAE official stated that the temporary restrictions were due to security concerns and emphasized that they are subject to ongoing review. Furthermore, the official mentioned that these restrictions would be lifted for specific visa categories in the coming days but did not provide further details.
