After suffering a stroke… Iranian doctors treat Hassan Nasrallah

After circulating news of the entry of the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, into intensive care due to a health ailment that afflicted him, and the cancellation of a speech that was scheduled for him on Friday due to health conditions, the website of the Iranian opposition newspaper “Kayhan” revealed, on Sunday evening, that Iran had sent a number of doctors to Lebanon, to treat her ally, the Secretary General of “Hezbollah,” Hassan Nasrallah, who was recently transferred to the hospital.

The newspaper said in a report that, “After the cancellation of Hassan Nasrallah’s speech, sources loyal to the Lebanese Hezbollah announced that he had the flu, but some sources said that ” Nasrallah suffered a stroke.”

The opposition Iranian newspaper quoted Beirut International Airport employees as saying: “Several people wearing doctors’ uniforms were sent from Tehran to Beirut on board the plane of the Revolutionary Guards-affiliated Miraj Airlines.”

Sources affiliated with the Lebanese “Hezbollah” and news agencies affiliated with the Revolutionary Guard, including “Tasnim”, reported that the speech of the Secretary-General of “Hezbollah”, Hassan Nasrallah, was canceled due to his illness.

And the party’s public relations department announced in a statement that Nasrallah’s speech, which was scheduled to be delivered last Friday evening, had been canceled due to his infection with the flu.

The Israeli newspaper, The Jerusalem Post, said, “Hassan Nasrallah was transferred to the intensive care unit in one of Beirut’s hospitals, after he suffered a stroke.”

It is noteworthy that since 2015 until now, many news has spread about the illness of the Secretary-General of “Hezbollah”, Hassan Nasrallah, who is 62 years old.

And in 2021, when news broke about Hassan Nasrallah’s illness, Faisal Shukr, a senior Hezbollah official, described it as a “seasonal allergy.”

Faisal Shukr told the Iranian news agency “Tasnim” that Hassan Nasrallah’s physical condition is good, and what the “Hezbollah” leader suffered from was “a severe cold and allergies in the lungs, which he suffers from, every year in the spring.”

In a related context, the official Iranian agency, “IRNA”, quoted, on Sunday evening, what it described as an “informed source in the Lebanese Hezbollah,” as saying, “Hassan Nasrallah is in good health and is undergoing treatment after contracting the influenza virus.”
