Deputy Prime Minister, Caretaker Minister of National Defense, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Zeina Akar, on Monday received in her office, an EU delegation headed by Pedro Marques, the Vice President of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament Group.

As per a statement by Minister Akar’s press office, talks touched on the general situation in Lebanon and the issue of the parliamentary elections for 2022, in addition to the Syrian displacement issue and the need for the EU to increase support for the host countries, including Lebanon.
