The head of the National Committee for the Administration of the “Corona” Vaccine, Abdel Rahman Al-Bizri, warned in a radio interview that evading the measures to prevent the “Corona” virus will once again put us in front of a bad scenario.

He pointed out that “the reasons for the rise in the number of epidemic infections again are the laxity of citizens and the retreat of procedures, in addition to the arrival of large numbers of expatriates to Lebanon, and the mutated Delta has a great ability to spread.”

He stressed, “We have high societal immunity that will help us limit the spread of the epidemic, but this is related to people’s commitment to the required procedures, calling for the demand for vaccination campaigns because it helps to immunize our society more and more.”

He said: “The real danger today to hospitals is the shortage of medical and vital materials and the shortage of medical and nursing staff”.
