Alfa says Care Line program a ‘tribute’ to medical workers

Alfa telecommunications announced on Monday the launching of Care Line prepaid program, in coordination with Lebanon’s Ministry of Telecommunications, as a sign of appreciation for healthcare workers.

“Care Line prepaid program offers reductions up to 76% on the various communication services,” Alfa said in a statement, noting that the program is valid as from March 1 until the end of 2021.

“This innovative product comes as a tribute to the medical and nursing body, the first line of defense in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic,” the statement said, adding “the program benefits doctors, dentists and nurses who are members of their unions.”

Care Line includes two programs with different features and reduced prices, as follows:

– Care Line 20: it offers reductions up to 76%, 180 minutes of local calls, 8 GB and 300 SMS for $20 or 30,300 Lebanese pounds per month (excluding the value-added tax).

– Care Line 35: it offers reductions up to 63%, 240 minutes of local calls, 5 GB and 240 SMS for $35 or 53,025 Lebanese pounds per month (excluding the value-added tax).

Work is underway to launch the Care Line program for postpaid lines, Alfa said.
