The head of the Bakery Owners Syndicate, Ali Ibrahim, expressed his fear of a bread crisis, stressing through “Voice of Lebanon” that they had not been informed of anything about insuring diesel, and that a new number of bakeries closed their doors this morning.

He reaffirmed that the special permissions obtained by the bakeries to receive diesel from the Ministry of Economy are “checks without balance” that cannot be used.
