An international organization advises its employees in Lebanon to supply ‎with food

Following the economic crisis that Lebanon is going through, the United Nations Department of Peace and Security sent an e-mail to its employees and workers, requesting that they provide enough food and potable water for two weeks.

The letter stated:

“In light of the living crisis, power outages, and the lack of gasoline and kids milk, The United Nations Department of Safety and Security advises all staff in its offices in Lebanon to supply food items that are sufficient for them for at least for two weeks and provide gasoline for cars and paying attention while waiting at gas stations for fear of possible violence, storage of necessary medicines up to two or three months especially for those with chronic diseases. In addition of buying candles and batteries to be used in case of a total power outage.”
