The President of the Republic, Michel Aoun, congratulated the basketball team that won the Asian Qualifiers.

“Congratulations to Lebanon, as the champions of the basketball team who, despite all obstacles, won the qualifiers for the AFC Asian Cup; I am confident that they will be able to assume the responsibility and will continue with the same determination to raise the name of their country”, he tweeted.
