The President of the Republic expressed his hope that “we will reach an end to the current crisis by forming a new government within the next few days, despite some efforts to obstruct this formation, and to initiate structural reforms and negotiations with the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank to rebuild Lebanon and organize it administratively and politically at various levels.” He stressed, “The President of the Republic, despite his lost powers, is a co-author with the designated prime minister, and he has the right to choose from among the names presented in light of his moral authority.”
He stressed that “our struggle continues in order to rebuild this country despite all the difficulties and confrontations that confront us and the campaigns of misinformation and rumors,” stressing that he will not resign and will carry out his duties until the end, and no one will shake him in his position or in his eagerness to continue fighting corruption.
