President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, received United Nations’ Deputy Special Coordinator in Lebanon, Mrs. Najat Rushdie, today at the Presidential Palace.

Living and humanitarian affairs were discussed, in addition to the ways to address them in cooperation with UN organizations, especially those concerned with humanitarian affairs.

The President emphasized working to alleviate Lebanese sufferings in current difficult circumstances, asserting the importance of the role of concerned international organizations.

Former MP Al-Aawar:

The President met former MP, Fadi Al-Aawar, and deliberated with him current general and governmental developments, in addition to ongoing contacts to form the new government.

Al-Aawar stated that President Aoun is doing everything he can to form the government soon.
