President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, affirmed that “the need has become urgent to hold a session of the Council of Ministers, especially since there are many entitlements that have accumulated that require decisions by the Council, knowing that the continued non-convening of government sessions disrupted government work in its various aspects, in addition to disrupting the work of the judiciary.”

He stressed, “The necessary procedures to hold the parliamentary elections on time should be followed up,” noting that “the renewal is what leads to the desired change.”
