President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, assigned the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Mrs. Zeina Akar, to inform the Permanent Representative of Lebanon to the United Nations, Ambassador Amal Mudallali, of the need to inform the UN General Secretariat of the continued violation of Lebanese sovereignty by the Israeli forces, especially in light of the use of Lebanese airspace in order to target Syrian territories, leading to damages in two Lebanese towns as a result of the Israeli air strikes on Syria.

It is noteworthy that the repeated Israeli attacks against Lebanon from land, sea and air constitute a violation of Security Council Resolution 1701.

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants in the caretaker government, Zina Aker, condemned in a statement, “the attacks and violations committed by the Israeli enemy, as Syrian military sites were targeted from the Lebanese territories and airspace, and they affected Lebanese areas in Lehfed and Mejdel and almost resulted in losses.” in souls.”
