The head of the Parliamentary Health Committee, Representative Assem Araji, wrote on Twitter, saying: “What the Lebanese are suffering form has become greater than their endurance. As a doctor, I still practice the profession to a minimum.”

He said, “I hear people’s pain not from their illness, but also from financial hardship, and their inability to heal and recover, especially since there is no prospect for a political solution”.

“My fear that the solution will be regional at our expense. Lebanon urgently needs to be rescued”, he added.
