Araji: No decisive steps to stop smuggling

The head of the Parliamentary Health Committee, Representative Assem Araji, pointed out that “stopping the smuggling networks has become a very difficult matter, and the story of drug smuggling in pomegranate  has passed through the legitimate crossings as well, because there are no decisive steps in this matter.”

In a radio interview, Araji added, “We have warned against the spread of Captagon pills among youth groups, and the abuse rate is high and widespread in Lebanon, and unemployment is the main factor in youth abuse of Captagon in the country.”
