Head of the Parliamentary Health Committee, Assem Araji, tweeted: “Cancer patients demonstrate in front of ESCWA because they are not getting their medicines, and they make the heart melt. Medical supplies and medicines are sold on black-market dollars.  The Lebanese pound collapsed. Hospitalization’s cost variances are imaginary. Fuel is not available, and the reason, those who are obstructing the formation of the government.”

He continued, “Unfortunately, there is no more statesmen. The situation of the sick and the people is tragic.”
