The Head of the Parliamentary Health Committee, MP Assem Araji, appealed to the President of the Republic, Michel Aoun, regarding the unprecedented collapse of the entire healthcare sector.

Araji said in a tweet: “Your Excellency, the healthcare sector has totally collapsed, as there is severe outages in pharmaceuticals, and the medical supplies are sold in fresh dollars.”

He added that patients are unable to pay the hospital tariffs anymore, and the dreadful migration of the medical and nursing staff continues, and the citizens’ health is at risk.
