Head of the Economic and Social Council, Charles Arbid, tweeted today on the suffocating situation in the country, saying: “They will continue to wear our souls out so that when the gas tank reaches 225,000 LBP and the bundle of bread 10,000 LBP.”

He added: “We would say, ‘Praise the Lord, we are relieved’…The crisis ought to have been addressed from the very beginning in another way. They do not hear; this is too much!”
