Head of the National Vaccine Management Committee, Abdel Rahman Bizri, assured that Pfizer vaccines, which are available in all vaccination centers in Lebanon, are safe.

He confirmed via a radio interview, that the shipment that recorded symptoms for the recipients, was withdrawn from the centers and is kept in the warehouses of the Ministry of Health, until its safety is ascertained.

Bizri indicated that the Ministry of Health contacted Pfizer and the global committees to verify the safety of the shipment, explaining that no unusual symptoms were recorded among the recipients of the vaccine, but rather a recurrence that called for a proactive and oversight step by the Ministry of Health.

He also revealed that all those who experienced these symptoms are in good health today.
