Nine soldiers were injured when young men riding motorcycles threw stun grenades at an army force that was working to maintain security during protests in the region, the army said in a communiqué this morning.

The Army added that Al-Nour Square, Al-Jimiz Street – Tripoli, while a force of the army was carrying out the task of maintaining security and preventing encroachment on public and private property, stones were thrown at the army, which led to the injury of one of the soldiers.
