Lebanese Army Command – Orientation Directorate issued a statement on Monday, indicating that “on Sunday, May 2, 2021, the army units deployed in the Bekaa and North regions arrested four Lebanese citizens and four Syrians

They also seized a tanker and four vehicles that were in their possession loaded with about 6,790 liters of gasoline, 930 liters of diesel fuel, and 71 hookah boxes, intended for smuggling into Syrian territories.”

The arrestees were handed over to the concerned judiciary which began the necessary investigation.
