The Army Command – Orientation Directorate – issued on Thursday the following statement:

“On August 25, 2021, from 19:00 until 20:29, three enemy naval violations were recorded in the Lebanese territorial waters off Ras Al-Naqoura, with a maximum distance of about 240 meters. Enemy elements first sounded sirens, then used a light detector and threw a flare bomb over the said marine spot.

The violations are being followed up in coordination with the United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon.”
