Audio-Visual Media Syndicate appeals to Information Minister to set a mechanism that facilitates media personnel’s access to gasoline

The Syndicate of Audio-Visual Media Professionals appealed to the Caretaker Minister of Information, Dr. Manal Abdel Samad Najd, in a statement today, “to seek among those concerned to find a special mechanism that allows media personnel to obtain gasoline, this vital and necessary substance whose availability has become a decisive factor in facilitating the task of media professionals in the field, in light of the diversity of economic and daily-living crises endured by all segments of society.”

As no indication of radical solutions seems to appear on the horizon that could lift the burdens off citizens’ shoulders, the Syndicate emphasized that “the media sectors are working hard to cover and keep pace with everything that is happening, while the difficulty of obtaining fuel impedes journalists from carrying out their professional duties.”
