The former minister, Major General Ashraf Rifi, tweeted the following:

“A meeting in the suburbs, organized by Hezbollah, is destructive and offensive to Lebanon, affecting Saudi Arabia’s and the Gulf’s national security, while the authority hides behind the Iranian occupation, which employs Lebanon and others at the negotiation table. The authority is a cover for Lebanon’s de facto ruler, who subverts the country’s interests in order to strengthen Iran’s Vienna negotiations.”

To the people in power: resign now! To Hezbollah and the conference participants: learn the lesson from your terrorist colleague Ahmad Al- Maghsal who has been appointed by Iran to commit Khobar crime, to receive a justified fate on the margin of its nuclear negotiations in 2015.”
