The former minister, Sejaan Azzi, tweeted: “Why do you claim that the government’s delay is due to a dispute over the nomination of two Christian ministers? Why don’t we say that the reasons are the existence of a project to change Lebanon’s regime and identity, striking the concept of rotation in the portfolios, the ambiguity of the blocking third, and linking the government’s formation to the region’s conflicts? And the introduction of parties into the government?
It is noteworthy that failing in forming a government has led to Lebanon’s economic collapse, which is likely to rank among the world’s worst financial crises since the mid-19th century, according to World Bank.
