Presidency of the Republic media office denied the allegations published by the “grandlb” website, about a meeting held by an advisor in the Presidential Palace with a number of heads of boards of directors of Lebanese banks who were summoned for judicial investigation.

The office stressed that “this news is fabricated and baseless, and falls within the framework of lies that are relentlessly promoted by parties in the context of organized fraud campaigns against the Presidency of the Republic and its officials.”

It considered that “this denial, is tantamount to informing the discriminatory Public Prosecution.”
