Sheikh Bahaa El-Din Rafic Hariri’s media office issued a statement confirming following the approach of martyr Prime Minister Rafik Hariri in the national action program that was prepared. The statement stipulated:

“Sheikh Bahaa Hariri affirmed his adherence to the approach of the martyr Prime Minister Rafik Hariri and prepared a program of action derived from that approach, in which there is an emphasis on the Islamic-Christian partnership.

In Sheikh Bahaa Hariri’s program, there are six plans for economic reform, judicial reform, constitutional reform, national defense, an anti-corruption strategy, and health reform. Hariri set immediate priorities and focused on fully implementing the Taif Agreement, stressing a comprehensive solution to the Lebanese crisis.

Hariri decided to appoint three committees, the first is social, the second is for communication and public relations, and the third is for media.

Hariri’s announcement was made during a meeting with his team, after examining the situation. Several political, service and economic steps were taken as well.

Sheikh Bahaa Hariri intends to launch a consultation workshop with concerned figures. He will also address the media, explaining the program and urging the creation of a central national emergency cell in the health field. He stated that opposition to foreign interference or violation of Lebanese sovereignty necessitates urgent solutions, most importantly strengthening state institutions, including the Lebanese army.
