Sheikh Bahaa Hariri tweeted on his Twitter page: “It was reported in some Lebanese newspapers that my supporters have been blocking roads recently in some areas across the country. This is fake news and untrue.”

Hariri added: “I do not condone violence on public and private properties. I will continue to stand by the Lebanese people who are struggling to live in dignity against the corruption of the ruling system.”

ورَدَ في بعض الصحف اللبنانية أنّ مناصريني عملوا على قطع الطرقات في بعض المناطق مؤخراً. هذا الخبر لا أساس له من الصحة. أنا لا أتغاضى عن العنف على الممتلكات العامة والخاصة. وأواصل الوقوف الى جانب اللبنانيين الذين يناضلون للعيش بكرامة ضد فساد المنظومة الحاكمة.
