Sheikh Baha Hariri wrote on his Twitter page: “We have always been and will remain one of the main supporters of the execution of the ‘Taif Accord’ and international resolutions 1701, 1559 and 1680, as well as non-interference in the affairs of Arab countries.”

He added: “We commit to neutrality for the good of Lebanon and its people, and we look forward to restore our good relations with all countries, specifically the Gulf states”.
