Bank Audi denied news that held him accountable for manipulating the dollar on the black market, and affirmed in a statement:

“A fake voice recording is circulating on some social media platforms that directly accuses Bank Audi of deals regarding dollar manipulation on the black market.

In this regard, Bank Audi would like to confirm that the content of this recording is fake, and that it falls within the context of the malicious media campaign waged by people with bad and premeditated intentions, which intends to mislead people from those who are really committing illegal speculative acts.

Bank Audi also announces that it has secured the required liquidity by selling banking entities of the group outside Lebanon.
