In a statement, Hermel doctors announced that they had stopped working due to their inability to secure gasoline, and said: “After the inability to secure gasoline for cars, and after making all efforts at all levels and appealing to officials, Hermel doctors announce that they have forcibly stopped work, because of the shortage of gasoline in their cars, and in the coming hours, the rest of the doctors of all specialties will join them, which may cause a catastrophic health crisis for emergency patients, trauma accidents, heart attacks and emergency surgery patients, which puts all state agencies and stakeholders in front of a great responsibility.”
They appealed to the local authorities to help secure gasoline for them, “to preserve their humanitarian role.”
