“No concrete decision has yet been taken,” Head of General Labor Union Bechara Asmar said, “but the disasters we are witnessing today are a persuasive lifting of subsidies at all levels and acoss all sectors.”

“Crisis escalates in the absence of any responsibility on the part of the rulers,” Asmar said in an interview with “Voice of Lebanon.” As a result, we urge Lebanese citizens to join the demonstrations planned for tomorrow, on Thursday, to demand the establishment of a rescue government, because it is intolerable that people face so many problems.”
