House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Tuesday welcomed at the Second Presidency in Ain El-Tineh, former Vice Prime Minister and former Minister, Zeina Akar, with discussions reportedly touching on the current general situation and the latest political developments in the country.

Akar also presented the Speaker with a book about the capital, Beirut, between the years 1840 and 1918, which contains rare photos of old Beirut, which were collected by the “Nabu” Museum to preserve the historical heritage that embodies Beirut’s historical past during that era.
