House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Wednesday followed up on the general conditions and daily living affairs, notably the issue of salaries, especially the existing discrimination between the different categories of public sector employees, pointing out that “this disparity will lead to greater collapses than the current financial and economic collapse and will have ominous social and economic repercussions.”

Speaker Berri, after holding a series of contacts with the concerned officials, called for “rectifying this matter, even if it requires freezing this disparity immediately before it is too late.”
